Refunds & Returns / Cancellation Policy
1. Scope & Purpose
This policy describes when and how you may cancel orders, return products, and seek refunds for items purchased via Raries. This applies to custom-printed books, templated items, design add-ons, and any related goods.
2. Cancellation
You may request cancellation only before production has begun.
Once you’ve approved the final proof or printing has started, cancellation is no longer possible.
If you cancel an order within the permissible window, we will refund your payment (minus any non-recoverable costs) to the original payment method.
We reserve the right to cancel an order (for example, due to suspected fraud or licence issues) and issue a full refund.
3. Custom / Made-to-Order Products
Because most of our products are custom-printed or made to your specification, they cannot be returned unless there is a verified defect or fulfilment error on our part.
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged in transit, or does not match your order, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with photographs and description.
After review, we may replace the item, reprint, or issue a refund (at our discretion).
In the case of replacements, you will bear the cost of return shipping if the fault is not ours; if the fault is ours, we will cover replacement shipping.
4. Non-custom / Template Items
If we ever supply pre-printed or stock items (not custom), you may return them within 30 days from receipt, provided they are unused, in original packaging and condition.
Return shipping is your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
5. Return Process
Contact us at support@raries.com (or via the returns portal) with order number, reason for return, and photos (if defect).
We will issue a Return Authorization and instructions.
You must return the item in the condition and packaging we specify, using a trackable courier.
Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process refund or replacement.
6. Refunds
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Processing time: allow 15 days for refund clearance into your account.
Shipping fees and other charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or defect.
We might deduct a restocking fee or transport costs in rare cases (which we will communicate in advance).
7. “Return to Sender” / Undeliverable
If a shipment is returned to us due to incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts, you are responsible for the additional shipping cost to resend it. We may deduct this from your refund or invoice you before re-shipping.
8. Limitation
We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if the returned goods are damaged, altered, or not in a resalable condition, or if the return does not follow our stated process.
