Spiral (coil) binding uses a continuous coil (often plastic) spun through holes. Wiro uses individual metal loops. Wiro looks more refined and handles alignment better, though spiral may tolerate bending more without damage.
Yes, but be mindful: the area near the wire edge is interrupted by holes and wire loops, so full continuity is not perfect.
Not easily. Once the wire is crimped closed, it’s not designed to be reopened without deforming.
